The strengthening of Macaé's Innovation Ecosystem is a common objective of several institutions such as universities, companies, government and society, as well as entrepreneurs, startups and investors, who have been joining efforts to promote innovative entrepreneurship and develop a regional vocation for science and technology for the Municipality, where the following areas are considered as of priority interest: Agribusiness, Biotechnology, Education, Industry 4.0, Oil, Gas and Energy, Health, Sustainability, Technology and Tourism.

With this in mind, the Macaé Startup Program has been promoting calls to map the various actors that are part of the innovation ecosystem in Macaé and region, and identify the challenges and opportunities in the environment.
